Supply Minister Krushna Chandra Patra Addresses Ration Card Issues in Legislative Assembly

Bhubaneswar: Supply Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, in a written response in the Legislative Assembly, stated that 23,138 ineligible beneficiaries have not returned their ration cards, while 87,844 families have returned theirs. Additionally, 4,08,107 ghost cards have been canceled. Under the Food Security Scheme, there are 3 crore 30 lakh 28 thousand 880 beneficiaries and 97 lakh 55 thousand 442 ration cards that include these beneficiaries.
