Maharashtra, Feb, 17: A new chapter has begun in Maharashtra politics. Sunetra Pawar, wife of Ajit Pawar, has taken oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Governor of Maharashtra administered the oath of office to her.
At the swearing-in ceremony, along with the Governor, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde were also present.
With this, Sunetra Pawar has become the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
