Ali, 20th Nov 2025: At the Ali Tahasil office, Suman Ghosh has joined as the new Tahsildar. The new Tahsildar has been given charge along with his team of assistants.
Background: Suman Ghosh previously served as Additional District Collector in Bhanjanagar district. He has now joined Ali Tahasil as the first female Tahsildar of the region.
Following the transfer of the previous Tahsildar, Shantaswarup Mishra, the charge of the Tahasil office was temporarily managed by Video Avinash Bilita. On Monday, Video Avinash formally handed over the responsibilities to the new Tahsildar, Suman Ghosh.
After joining, the new Tahsildar assured the residents of Ali that all pending work in the region would be addressed promptly. She also promised that all necessary facilities and services would be made available to the local population.
During the welcoming ceremony, additional Tahsildars Manas Swain, Pradeep Behera, Paresh Mallik, Debasish Behera, and RF Sridhar Pradhan, along with other staff of Ali Tahasil, presented a grand floral welcome to Suman Ghosh.
