Umerkote,17th July 2025 – The new Nagar Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Umerkote has been formed, with Sudeb Nandi appointed as the President of the BJP Nagar Yuva Morcha. Sudeb has been an active party member for over nine years. He had contested as a councillor candidate in the 2009 municipal elections on a BJP ticket.
Previously, he served as the General Secretary of the Yuva Morcha and also worked as the General Secretary of the BJP Nagar Committee.
Currently, Sudeb is an active member of the RSS, the Youth Secretary of the Nabarangpur District Bengali Coordination Committee, and the Secretary of Ma Pendrani Agro Association.
Upon his appointment, Sudeb expressed his gratitude to State BJP President Manmohan Samal, District President Kunj Das, local MLA and Minister of School & Mass Education Nityananda Gond, District Yuva Morcha President Shubhajit Panigrahi, and Nagar President Santosh Sharma.
He stated that in the coming days, efforts will be made to strengthen the Yuva Morcha in Umerkote and address local issues concerning the youth.
