Kotpad: An awareness rally for the Subhadra Scheme was held today at Kotpad NAC (Notified Area Council). The event was presided over by Executive Officer Puja Raut and chaired by M. Shankar Rao.
The main objective of the program was to ensure the inclusion of all women under the Subhadra Scheme, launched by the Central and State Governments. The event began with the installation of a sacred Kalash (pot) and a puja ceremony at the NAC office, followed by a rally across Kotpad town.
Among those present were board members, Anganwadi workers, self-help group (SHG) members, and all NAC employees. The participants marched with slogans promoting the Subhadra Scheme.
Notably, Gautami Pattnayak, Prashant Kacchim, Rajesh Chetti, Gopi Majhi, K. Ramesh, and other key employees of the Notified Area Council actively contributed to the event, ensuring its success.
