Bhubaneswar, 7th Nov 2025:  The long-suspended Subhadra Portal is set to reopen from tomorrow. Those who were unable to enroll in the Subhadra Scheme earlier due to being underage will now be able to apply again starting tomorrow.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, women who will have completed 21 years of age by March 31, 2025, can apply to join the government’s Subhadra Scheme. Eligible new applicants will receive their Subhadra installment on March 8, 2025 (International Women’s Day).

However, since the Model Code of Conduct is currently in force due to the by-election in Nuapada, the Subhadra Portal will not reopen in that district until the code is lifted.

For the financial year 2025–26, applicants must be at least 21 years old and below 60 years of age as of April 1, 2025. Therefore, the applicant’s date of birth should fall between April 2, 1965, and April 1, 2004.
