Nandapur,8th Nov 2025:– The Sub-Registrar office in Nandapur Tehsil was inaugurated on Saturday. The program was held at the Nandapur Block conference hall, where Tehsildar Debabrata Maharana, Additional Tehsildar Madhab Pangi, Block Cooperative Executive Officer Jhasketan Behera, Revenue Circle Inspector Somnath Muduli, senior BJP official Bhagaban Muduli, Jayaram Bhoyi, Harihar Behera, Sudarshan Pangi, all Revenue Inspectors, and Panchayat Executive Officers were present.
Through a virtual medium, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari officially inaugurated the office, which is one of the 44 newly announced Sub-Registrar offices in the state. Previously, under the name of Nandapur, the Sub-Registrar office functioned effectively at Pattangi.
Now, with the recognition of the Nandapur Tehsil as a Sub-Registrar office, citizens will be able to carry out land purchase and sale, marriage registration, mortgage and lease deeds, and valuation-related work here, Tehsildar Maharana informed. The opening of the Sub-Registrar office fulfills a long-standing demand of the local residents of the block.
