Papadahandi, Dec, 05:  At the Higher Secondary School in Daleiguda, Papadahandi, the district-level Sargi Dhu 10 – 2025 festival was inaugurated yesterday. The 3-day event was organised by the Department of Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Other Backward Classes Welfare.

However, the major attraction of the programme for all visitors and guests was the beautiful sand art Sargi flower sculpture. Whether district-level officials or elected public representatives, everyone paused here to take photographs.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Maheshwar Swain, District Collector of Nabarangpur.

This beautiful artwork was created by Gaurishankar Dangri, an assistant teacher at Junapani Ashram School. He has been actively involved many times in organising blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, and similar social welfare activities. Though he is a teacher by profession, he is deeply dedicated to social service.
