Bhubaneswar, Jan, 02: From January 1, intensive vehicle checking will be carried out. Strict action will be taken against those who violate Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) rules. The Transport Commissioner has urged people to follow road safety regulations.
Discussions were held with all petrol pump owners and dealers. They have been instructed to display information regarding PUC certificates at their outlets.
The Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur informed that there is still time and advised vehicle owners to get their PUC certificates done without delay.
