Bhubaneswar, Dec, 24: Starting January 1, there will be strict vehicle inspections. The pollution certificates of vehicles will be checked. Vehicles without a valid PU (Pollution Under Control) certificate will not be allowed to receive diesel or petrol. This information was shared by Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur after a meeting with the Transport Department, oil companies, and dealer associations. The campaign will continue until January 31.
