Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: The state government has decided to create four new tehsils in the state, with new tehsils being established in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.
The Revenue Department has written letters to three District Collectors, stating that along with the Bhubaneswar tehsil, two more new tehsils will be created, and one tehsil each will be established in Cuttack and Sambalpur. With the addition of these new tehsils, the total number of tehsils in the state will increase from 317 to 321.
