State Athletics Meet: Athletes Win 5 Medals

Nabarangpur, Dec, 30: On the first day of the 71st State Athletics Meet-2025, held at Cuttack Barabati under the aegis of the State Sports Association, athletes from Nabarangpur district won a total of 5 medals.

  • In the triathlon event, Vaikuntha Bhatra won a gold medal.
  • In the under-20 women’s javelin throw, Smita Pangi won a silver medal.
  • In the under-18 women’s javelin throw, Subhadra Jerari won a bronze medal.
  • In the under-20 men’s 5000m race, Pavan Kumar Yadav won a silver medal.
  • In the under-16 women’s javelin throw, Kuni Rajgand won a gold medal.
