Sriballav & Sunanda Panigrahi Foundation Observes 10th Death Anniversary of Veteran Leader Sriballav Panigrahi

15th July Bhubaneswar : The 10th death anniversary of former minister Late Sriballav Panigrahi was observed by the Sriballav and Sunanda Panigrahi Foundation.

At a commemorative event held at Jayadev Bhawan, former PCC President and Foundation Trustee Niranjan Patnaik, presiding over the function, emphasized the need for the younger generation to learn about Sriballav Panigrahi. He recalled Panigrahi’s steadfast service in the field of land reform and his dedication to the welfare of poor workers.

PCC President Bhakta Charan Das, who was also present, said that the late Panigrahi was deeply inspired by Gandhian ideology and had wholeheartedly dedicated himself to social service.

MP Saptagiri Ulaka noted that Panigrahi consistently fought for the rights of farmers and laborers. Labor leader Ramchandra Khuntia praised Panigrahi’s significant contributions in the establishment of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) and the Sambalpur Railway Division, stating they will be remembered forever.

On the occasion, a souvenir was released by the guests. His son, Priyadarshi Panigrahi, gave the welcome address and introduced the dignitaries. His granddaughters Saanvi and Tisya performed devotional songs using bansuri (flute) and guitar.

The event was coordinated by Padmakar Guru, and the vote of thanks was offered by Rajashree Panigrahi.
