Nandahandi: The Block-level Skill Odisha, Skill India Program was organized on Monday at the Government Upper Primary School in Saruguda, under the Dangar Beja Panchayat of Nandahandi Block. The primary objective of this program was to promote basic literacy and numeracy skills and to prepare teaching materials using low-cost or no-cost resources.
The event focused on enhancing the creative knowledge of students and providing them with effective educational exposure. Children aged 3 to 9 years participated actively in this program. Teachers, along with the guests, took an oath to commit to imparting quality education, emphasizing fundamental literacy and numeracy development.
Students from 10 primary schools in the block presented projects based on numerical knowledge, showcasing their learning and creativity. These projects were thoroughly observed and appreciated by the attendees.
