Sinapali Feb, 10:: Humanity is still alive — and this has been proven not merely through words but through action by ASI Prabhakar Naik of Sinapali Police Station.

In Gandabahali Gram Panchayat under Sinapali in Nuapada district, some unscrupulous individuals had blocked the drainage water, causing water to accumulate on the village’s main road. This directly affected the daily lives of the residents. The stagnant drain water created a strong foul smell. Schoolchildren faced difficulties while going to school. Elderly people were afraid to walk on the road. Women endured daily inconvenience. Two-wheelers and four-wheelers were also facing the risk of accidents. The problem was becoming more serious day by day.

Upon learning about the situation, ASI Prabhakar Naik personally rushed to the spot. After closely inspecting the condition, without waiting for any orders or instructions, he himself began clearing the blocked drain water with his own hands. At that moment, it was not his rank but his humanity that defined him.

At a time when many people limit themselves strictly to their official duties, ASI Prabhakar Naik’s humane step serves as an inspiration to society. His action proves that when there is a spirit of service and compassion, designation is merely a word.
The incident in Gandabahali Gram Panchayat is not just ordinary news today, but has become a living example of humanity in the hearts of the local people. After the drain was cleaned, the road became clear and usable once again.
