Umarkote: On the occasion of Utkal Divas, Mrs. Om Prabha Sahu took charge as the new principal of Shaheed Laxman Nayak Higher Secondary School in Umarkote, Nabarangpur district.
After the retirement of the previous principal, Mrs. Kavita Patra, in March, Mrs. Sahu was considered qualified and appointed as the new principal. She holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and Mass Communication. Previously, she worked with Doordarshan Odia.
During the formal welcome ceremony, the Chairperson of the school, Mr. Jayadev Parida, and Secretary, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Parida, greeted the new principal with a bouquet of flowers. The event was attended by students, teachers, and faculty members.
Following her appointment, students and parents expressed their satisfaction, and the school management committee extended their gratitude for this well-deserved appointment.
