Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader Samir Mohanty will be the next president of the Odisha Olympics Association (OOA). No one other than Samir has filed a nomination for this position, making his appointment unopposed. He will serve as the OOA president until 2029. The OOA’s General Council meeting is scheduled for March 30.
While Samir Mohanty is set to become the new OOA president, Abhijit Pal will take over as the secretary. With the nomination process completed, the final list of candidates has been announced today. Both have emerged as unopposed candidates. The newly elected officials will assume their responsibilities during the General Council meeting on March 30.
