Bhubaneswar, 22nd Aug 2025: An advertisement has been issued for the second phase of +2 admission. Applications will start from the 25th of this month. Interested students can apply online through the SAMS website until the 31st.
The first merit list for this phase will be published on 4th September. Students selected in this list can complete their admission at the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education between 6th and 10th September. The advertisement has been released by the concerned authority.
On 4th September, the first merit list shows 2,03,000 vacant seats. The Directorate has informed that the facility for second-phase seat admission will be available through CHOICE from 12th to 13th September. The merit list for CHOICE admission will be published on 17th September. Students included in this list can complete their admission between 18th and 19th September.
For admission in leftover seats, handwritten applications will be invited on 22nd September from 9 AM to 3 PM. The merit list for these seats will be published on the same day at 4:30 PM. By 24th September, the admission process for all selected students will be completed.
For reference, the first-phase admission concluded on 16th August. For joint second-phase admission, a total of 5,92,011 seats were available. So far, 3,58,430 seats have been filled, leaving 2,33,581 seats vacant. The first-year classes for the joint admission started on 14th July.
