Cuttack, 26th Aug 2025: With the aim of providing specialized medical services in remote areas, a seven-member team of doctors from SCB Medical College, Cuttack reached Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital under the Chief Minister’s Air Health Service Scheme.
From 18th to 21st August, these super-specialist doctors will treat patients in the district under the scheme.
On the first day itself, more than 200 patients from departments like Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Nephrology received treatment. Tomorrow, surgeries for 17 patients are scheduled.
The medical team includes:

- Dr. Abhansh Tank, Senior Cardiologist
- Dr. Dhwaj Kumar Lenka, Senior Nephrologist
- Dr. Sanghamitra Mitra Sahu, Senior Neurologist
- Dr. Sitakant Panda, Senior Endocrinologist
- Dr. Rakesh Mahanti, Senior Surgeon
- Dr. R. Mahapatra, Assistant Professor, Anaesthesiology
- Dr. Rajkumar Mahapatra also played a key role in coordinating the team.
