Kendujhar, 17th Nov 2025: A State Bank of India (SBI) branch is set to open in Raikala, the village of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, bringing banking services closer to the local people.
Earlier, residents had to travel to Jhumpura for banking services. With the opening of this branch, people from Raikala and nearby villages will be able to open accounts, use ATM services, and avail various types of loans.
Maheshwar Sahu, Chief Manager of the Kendujhar Regional Business Office, stated that the branch will become fully operational within six months.
