Medana On 22nd May, at Medana Panchayat Sadar Mahkuma, Dugang Block, Nabarangpur district, at the Mahima Tungi area, the construction work of the new Bana Temple has been completed. Today, the establishment ceremony of the new temple was held, along with the observance of the World Peace Brahmayajna.

The religious event was organized by the Dugang (Utkal Samaj). The ceremony was attended by revered Brahmavadhoot saints including Anadibaba, Brahmavadhoot Dambaru Baba, and Brahmavadhoot Ramchandra Baba, along with over a hundred sadhus, saints, and devotees from Medana and nearby panchayats and blocks.

The program began with all Mahima Dharma followers gathering and participating in a grand procession to collect holy water from the riverbank, which was then used to place an auspicious Kalash (sacred pot) at the temple site.

From evening till late night, the devotees chanted the names of Mahima Dharma continuously, while lighting an unbroken lamp and the eternal Brahma Dhuni (holy fire), performing the yagna ceremony.

The event was supported by former block chairman Bansidhar Majhi, former sarpanch Hiranya Majhi, and the local villagers and devotees of Medana village. The Vedic Satya Sanatan Mahima Dharma temple establishment ceremony concluded peacefully with a prayer for world peace.
