Kotpad,20th Oct 2025: The monthly meeting of the Sarpanches of the Murha Handi Panchayat in Gulumi under Kotpad block was held today. The meeting was presided over by Sarpanch Dev Majhi.
In meeting, discussions were held regarding the development of all the panchayats in the Kotpad block and the presentation of all government schemes to the panchayat residents. Special focus was given on how to move forward and provide full assistance for issuing ration cards and old-age pensions to eligible beneficiaries, as well as the construction of roads, drinking water facilities, and providing houses under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.
All government employees of the Kotpad block office, especially junior staff, were instructed to give clear explanations to the Sarpanches and cooperate fully in all fields, giving priority to their work.
Along with all these, the block Sarpanches were wished cooperation and unity in their efforts.
Particular attention was given to a friend gathering program and detailed discussions were held on the conservation and beautification of Gulumi Waterfall as a tourist spot.
Finally, the head Sarpanch of Murha Handi Panchayat, Sarita Sagaria, expressed thanks and concluded the meeting.
