Brahmapur: Veteran social worker Sarita Panda from Brahmapur has been selected as the Chairperson of the Ganjam District Women’s Board of the International Human Rights Council. She has long been working for the welfare of slum dwellers and continues her struggle for the rights of the poor and marginalized sections of society.

In addition, she has been actively raising awareness among the public about traditional foods like matipatra and matihandi. Sarita Panda also organizes various programs to promote Ayurveda and highlight the importance of natural treatments.

She has authored several books focusing on education, health, relationships, philosophy of life, culture, and traditions. Declaring her dedication, she stated that she will continue to serve the people till her last drop of blood.
