Kotpad: As part of the Van Mahotsav Week, the Forest Department and the Kotpad Environment Committee organized a sapling plantation drive near Bamandei, a local area in Kotpad. Various saplings were planted during the event.
From the Prakriti Bandhu (Friends of Nature) group, local nature enthusiast Hemanta Kumar Patra participated, along with the Kotpad Forest Division’s Forester and Forest Guard.
In the second phase of the event, sapling planting was carried out with the cooperation of members of the Kotpad Environment Committee, including Kunj Bihari Vaidya, Saroj Kumar Pattnayak, Gokulananda Rath, Pradip R., Suresh Behera, and Prashant Sahu
