Puri Sand will soon be removed from the sanctum sanctorum of the Sun Temple. Today, the Director General of the ASI (Archaeological Survey of India), Yadubir Singh Rawat, conducted an inspection regarding this matter. He was accompanied by the Puri Circle Officer and a 15-member team of experts. This team studied the preservation of the Sun Temple and the current status of the sand removal from the sanctum sanctorum.
