3. During the previous government, surveys were conducted across all wards and about 40,000 landless families were identified for land rights (LRC). However, only 12,000 were granted land rights before the elections.

4. Evicted families and businesses in Burla must be provided with alternative locations.

5. VIMSAR Burla should be developed into an institution similar to AIIMS, and a satellite center of AIIMS should be established at the main hospital in Sambalpur.

6. Sambalpur University should be granted the status of a Central University.

7. Construction of the proposed bridge between Hirakud and Burla must be undertaken.

8. The second ring road project from Burla should be completed immediately.

9. All major industrial establishments in Sambalpur district must ensure 100% local employment and create self-employment opportunities for locals.

The Sambalpur Sangram Samiti has resolved to launch a massive public campaign in the coming days to press these demands.
