Sacred Timber Sent to Puri for Construction of Chariots for the Grand Rath Yatra Festival

Puri, Mar, 28:  Timber has been dispatched to Jagannath Temple, Puri for the upcoming Rath Yatra.
A total of 29 logs have been sent from the North Ghumusar Forest Division in Ganjam district.
Each log measures 20 feet in length.
After performing rituals, bhajans, and special prayers, the timber was transported in two trucks.
The wood will be used to construct the axles of the chariots.
In the next phase, an additional 73 logs will be sent.
