Kolonara: Preparations for the purification festival of the newly constructed Dadhi Nauti at Jeypore Radha Krishna Temple have been completed. The festival will commence on March 5 and continue until March 7, coinciding with the Shukla Paksha Ashtami.
On March 5, various rituals will begin early in the morning, including Ratna Bhandar Bharan (treasury filling), Dhvaja Bandhan (flag hoisting), and Neelachakra Sthapana (installation of the sacred wheel). On March 6, the Ghat Sthapana (sacred pot installation), Surya Puja (sun worship), and Guru Puja (guru worship) will take place.
On March 7, the final day, there will be Surya Puja, Go Mata Pujan (cow worship), Shodasha Upachara Puja (16-step ritual worship), Gita Yajna (recitation of the Bhagavad Gita), and Purnahuti (final offering).
At the conclusion of the festival, prasad distribution has been arranged for all devotees in front of the JK Paper Mill Union Office, as informed by the organizing committee.
