Kotpad,24th Oct 2025: The sacred Govardhan Puja was solemnly performed with great grandeur at the Radha Krishna temple premises located in Kenduguda, Kotpad. Especially during the holy month of Kartika, when daily morning worship rituals are ongoing, today’s Govardhan Puja was conducted following all the established religious rules and customs. Thousands of devotees participated, and food prasadam (blessed food) was arranged for all.
It is informed that on this auspicious day, Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra was present and along with having darshan (holy viewing) of Lord Krishna, he partook in the prasadam served to all the devotees present. Among others, MLA representatives Suren Mahanti, Bikas Pattnayak, Topan Mahapatra, Sanjay Mishra, Pramod Das, Sagar Das, along with temple priest Santosh Prabhuji and temple members, were also present.
