Bargarh, Dec, 16: A financial grant of Rs 1 crore has been approved for the Bargarh Dhanu Jatra.
200 artists will receive an honorarium of Rs 10,000 each.
The funds have been sanctioned by the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture.
This year, the Dhanu Jatra will be held from December 24 to January 3, 2026.
The Dhanu Jatra festival will be live-streamed through LED screens.
Theme-based gates related to Dhanu Jatra will be constructed at the major entry points of Bargarh town.
During the Dhanu Jatra period, special tourist buses will operate from Bhubaneswar and Puri to Bargarh.
