Road Safety Awareness Rally Organised in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, Jan, 19:  On the occasion of National Road Safety Month, a Road Safety Awareness Rally was organised today in Nabarangpur district.

The rally was organised through the initiative of the Regional Transport Office. It began in front of the District Collector’s Office and proceeded up to the Mission Shakti Convention Hall.

On this occasion, District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain and Superintendent of Police Sandeep Sampad were present and flagged off the rally.

All those present took the road safety pledge administered by the government and promised to strictly follow traffic rules.

Referring to National Road Safety Month, the theme highlighted was:
“From Awareness to Action, From Technology to Transformation”

In this context, District Collector Dr. Swain appealed to everyone to strictly follow road safety rules and also motivate others to become aware of traffic safety.

Students of Raja Chaitanya Dev Nodal High School, the Regional Transport Officer, District Education Officer, Superintending Engineer, R&B Department officials, CDMO, Traffic Inspector, various district-level officers, and office-bearers of the Nabarangpur Drivers’ Association participated in the rally.

During the rally, various road safety awareness slogans were displayed, and leaflets were distributed among the public to create awareness about road safety.
