Umerkote, Jan, 05:  The annual festival “Riviera 2025”, organized by Gurukrupa Charitable Trust, a leading educational institution of Nabarangpur district, was successfully inaugurated and conducted. The four-day festival commenced with great enthusiasm.

On the inaugural evening, the District Collector of Nabarangpur, Dr. Maheshwar Swain, attended as the chief guest, while Mr. Biswajit Barman graced the occasion as the guest of honour. On the second evening, the Executive Officer of Umerkote Municipality, Mr. Alok Kumar Anugulia, attended as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included Umerkote IIC Ramakanta Sai, IIC Shivaji Panda, retired Superintendent of Police Vibhutibhusan Panda, Help Line voluntary organization director Durga Prasad Mallik, and former Immunization Officer Kusum Nayak, among others. They felicitated the participants with certificates and trophies.

Addressing the gathering on the second evening, chief guest Mr. Alok Kumar Anugulia said that organizing such programmes helps enhance the skills of students studying in the institution and motivates them to achieve their goals in the future. Appreciating the initiative, IIC Ramakanta Sai and IIC Shivaji Panda congratulated and thanked the institution’s management committee for organizing such a meaningful event.
On this occasion, several dignitaries were present on the dais, including Managing Director of Gurukrupa Institution Manoj Kumar Padhi, Secretary Mrs. Sagarika Pattnaik, Director Sachin Das, Principal of Gurukrupa Science College Jaya Tripathy, Programme Coordinator Eng. Chandana Mallik, Principal of Bachpan – A Play School Mrs. Deepa Pal, Principal of Gurukrupa Public School Mrs. Swapna Panigrahi, Chairperson of Gurukrupa College of Medical Sciences Dr. Devi Prasad Kar, Sudhanshu Sekhar Tahal, Principal of Gurukrupa Higher Secondary School Pankaj Mishra, and retired senior teacher Mrs. Shantilata Mahanti. The entire programme was efficiently coordinated by Eng. Chandana Mallik, lecturer of Gurukrupa College and Programme Coordinator of the Gurukrupa Institution. With the collective support of teachers, staff, and employees of the Gurukrupa Institution, the programme was conducted successfully.

The honoured guests congratulated the students, staff, and organizers of Gurukrupa Educational Institution for the successful event. The delightful performances by young students mesmerized the audience. On behalf of the institution, teacher Hamida Bano Hingora expressed heartfelt thanks to all the guests, parents, and members of the public present.

The programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
