The residents expressed their support for the CGMALI and Maitri companies, mentioning that the mining will not only lead to prosperity but also solve local problems like unemployment, and will bring improvements in the fields of health, education, and infrastructure. They also mentioned that construction of temples and other developmental work is already underway in their region with the support of Maitri company.
The villagers emphasized that there has been no opposition from the local community, and that certain outsiders are misleading the tribal population to oppose the mining project for their own vested interests.
