Bhubaneswar, Dec, 16: The remuneration of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) has been doubled.
The Election Commission has announced an increase in remuneration. The payment has been raised from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000.
The incentive amount for electoral roll revision has also been increased byRs 1,000.
The remuneration of BLO Supervisors has been increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,000.
The remuneration of AEROs and EROs has been increased to Rs 25,000.
