Relief for Government Employees: Dearness Allowance Hiked by 2percent

Bhubaneswar: Good news for government employees.  The state government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) by 2percent.  As a result, the DA has gone up from 53percent to 55percent.  The increased DA will be paid in cash with the April salary. A 2percent hike in TI (Temporary Increase) for pensioners as well.  This increased TI will be included in the April pension. . Nearly 8.5 lakh government employees and pensioners will benefit.
