Nabarangpur, 25th Oct 2025: The Regional Resource Centre Level “Shishu Mahotsav Surabhi” programme was grandly organized at the Government Upgraded High School, Jabaguda under Dabugaon Block of Nabarangpur District.
The event was presided over by Gitanjali Bastiya, Coordinator of the Jabaguda Regional Resource Centre. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Rashmita Netam, Group Education Officer, Dabugaon. Honoured Guests included Bhagaban Majhi and S. Kumar Sahu, Education Officers; Gajendra Mishra, Section Officer; Prasanna Kumar Dandasena and Gupta Prasad Nag, Regional Resource Centre Coordinators, among others.
Students from all schools under this Regional Resource Centre participated enthusiastically in various competitions such as debate, quiz, drawing, elocution, speech, creative writing, essay writing, singing, dictation, artwork on mid-day meals, handicrafts, and dance competitions.
The winners of the first, second, and third prizes in different categories were awarded by the distinguished guests. The cultural performances were very attractive and entertaining, filling the audience with joy.
Teachers Dhananjaya Bag and Mohan Nayak conducted the stage management very efficiently. Teachers Pradeep Padhi, Ishwar Harijan, Saubhagya Biswal, Dillip Baria, Smruti Khamari, and Satyabhama Nihal also extended their cooperation in making the programme successful.
