Redhakhol, 22nd July 2025: On the second day of the tribute ceremony organized by Tridhara at Ravindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, in honor of Guru Dr. Deba Prasad Das, the renowned dance institute Suraghungura from Redhakhol presented a Mangala Charan Odishi dance performance featuring eight dancers.
On this occasion, Padma Shri Ileana, Padma Shri Aruna Mohanty, and Tridhara director Guru Dr. Gajendra Panda were present. During the event, Guru Prashanta Bhaina of Suraghungura was felicitated for his contribution.
This marked the first time that Suraghungura from Redhakhol performed the Mangala Charan in Odissi dance at such a prestigious platform.
