Rayagada:Jan, 10: The restoration and construction work of the Rayagada city railway overbridge on National Highway 326 has begun. For this, the District Collector Ashutosh Kulkantha has issued a notification stating that from the 10th of this month until the completion of the work, all types of traffic on the Rayagada overbridge will remain closed.
Until the overbridge work is completed, the district administration has requested the public to use two alternative routes for regular vehicle movement:
For heavy vehicles: From Siriguda Chowk via Rohit Colony and The V International Chowk.
For two-wheelers and light vehicles: From Kapilash Chowk via the railway underpass to Tehsil Chowk.
The overbridge work will be carried out in a phased manner to ensure the safety and smooth execution of the project. Necessary arrangements have also been made for emergency services.
The public is requested to cooperate with the administration for safety and convenience and to follow traffic rules during this period.
