Nandpur, Dec, 23: Kamala has been provided with rice and a ration card. The State Food Supply Minister, Krishnchandra Patra, visited Nandpur Lamps on Saturday. During this visit, a woman from Chatuwa Panchayat complained to the minister that her family had not received rice for the past two years, and she had not been issued a ration card.
Following this, the minister instructed Sub-Divisional Officer Prem Lal Hial, CSW Manas Ranjan Mahapatra, ACSW Saubhagya Ranjan, and Block Supply Inspector Jnasan Buruk to ensure that the woman’s family is provided with a new ration card and rice within 24 hours. Acting on the minister’s directive, departmental officers carried out the task. On Sunday, Block Supply Inspector Buruk visited Up-Upper Kandapali village of Chatuwa Panchayat, met Kamala Gemel and her family, and handed over the ration card. Additionally, 50 kg of rice was delivered to their home.District-level supply department officials also inspected various rice distribution centers at block and village levels and requested local residents to monitor and ensure proper distribution.
