Raksha Bandhan Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur 11th Aug 2025: Saraswati Shishu Mandir organised a grand and enthusiastic Raksha Bandhan celebration with participation from its students. The event was attended as the chief guest by retired headmistress Mrs. Jyotsna Mohapatra.

The programme began in the morning with an invocation and welcome song, followed by a welcome address from the chief guest. The Raksha Bandhan celebrations then commenced, starting with the chief guest being tied a rakhi. After this, the children tied rakhis to their brothers, sisters, and teachers (Guruji and Guruma). In addition, the students also tied rakhis to trees as part of an environmental awareness gesture.

Around 302 students from Class 1 to Class 7 took part in the celebration. At the conclusion of the event, meritorious students were felicitated by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Guruma Bhagya Bati Patra introduced the guests, while Sasmita Rath conducted the programme. The event ended with a vote of thanks.

Shishu Mandir’s stage leaders and teachers—including Sandhyarani Acharya, Sangita Satapathy, Pradeep Kumar Hota, Pardeshi Pujari, Prashant Ram Tripathy, Harishchandra Mohanty, Sunita Gouda, Sasmita Choudhury, Suchitra Gantayat, along with all other teaching and non-teaching staff—were present and extended their full support to make the event a success.
