Bhubaneswar, 16th Sept 2025: Rain is expected to continue across various parts of the state until September 17.Due to a low-pressure system, many regions in Odisha are experiencing ongoing rainfall. The low-pressure area is active near the coasts of North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, Odisha will experience rain for the next 3 days. A Yellow Alert has been issued for Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts today due to chances of heavy rainfall. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in 28 districts. A warning has been issued for half of Odisha for tomorrow, indicating potential adverse weather. 18 districts may witness scattered to moderate rain with thunder and lightning. Some districts may also experience winds blowing at speeds of 30–40 km/h, and alerts have been issued accordingly.
