Bhubaneswar, March, 16: The Public Grievance Hearing Programme was held on Monday by the School and Mass Education Department. The Departmental Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Dr. N. Tirumala Naik, personally heard the grievances submitted by members of the public and various stakeholders.
During the session, complaints related to school infrastructure, teacher appointments, transfer issues, scholarship disbursement, and other academic concerns were raised. Dr. Naik carefully reviewed each case and instructed the concerned departmental officials to take immediate steps for their resolution on a priority basis.
He emphasized transparency, accountability, and time-bound action in addressing public issues. The Commissioner-cum-Secretary also directed officials to strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism to ensure that citizens receive prompt and satisfactory responses. Senior officers of the department were present during the hearing and assured full cooperation in resolving the grievances at the earliest.
