Jharsuguda, Jan, 02: A block-level public grievance hearing camp was held at the Kirmira Panchayat Samiti office in Jharsuguda district. The camp was conducted under the chairmanship of District Collector Shri Kunal Motiram Chhabra.

Also present were Sub-Divisional Magistrate Shri Sabyasachi Panda, Chief Development Officer Shri Bishwaranjan Nayak, block development officers, and other block-level officials.

During the camp, a total of 17 grievances were received, including 4 collective complaints and 13 individual complaints. The grievances included issues related to:

  • Teachers of Kirmira P.M. Government High School
  • Government bus services
  • Waiting shelters at Lakshaghar cremation ground
  • Construction of rest houses and hand pumps
    Issues in villages such as Kukerma and Tileimal regarding Tata Power employees collecting excessive bills
  • Both collective and individual complaints were heard and discussed. The District Collector instructed the concerned officials to take prompt action to resolve the grievances.
  • Additionally, for medical assistance, one applicant was provided with financial aid of ₹5,000 through the Red Cross.
