Protesters Gather at Kujang Forest Division Demanding Forest and Wildlife Protection

Balitutha: The unnatural deaths of the rare Olive Ridley turtles, which come to the coast for nesting, have become a serious concern. This situation has arisen due to the negligence of employees under the Kujang Forest Division.

Additionally, the unnatural deaths of various rare wildlife species in the forests near the Jatadhara River mouth on both sides have also raised concerns. These include deer, wild boars, Indian civets, pangolins, peafowls, African species like honey badgers, and migratory birds.

In protest against these incidents, the Congress party has announced a demonstration on the 13th (Tuesday) in front of the Kujang Forest Division Office. This was stated by Priyabrata Nayak, the General Secretary of Social Media for the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee.
