Tentulikhunti The women had organized a roadblock in protest over the water issue. Regarding the incident, the NDO Manoj Kumar, the water supply officer, was informed and sent a water supply vehicle to resolve the issue within two days, promising a solution. After that, the situation improved.

In Rangpur District, Nabarangpur, the women from Pujari Guja and Righuda villages blocked the main road with containers, buckets, and other items on Monday morning to protest the water problem. After two days, the authorities promised to solve the issue and resumed water supply.

The problem arose in the village of Basudha, where the water supply system had been in place, but it had been dysfunctional for a long time. After the roadblock, the women started taking water from the tankers. Despite complaints to the water supply officers, the situation remained unresolved, causing significant inconvenience to the public. Upon contacting the Mega Water Supply Department, arrangements were made for water delivery, but it was also stalled. As a result, the villagers continued to face severe water shortages.

In response, the women of Pujari Guja, from Ward 6, blocked the main road holding pots and baskets. With the intervention of police, led by Pranab Kumar Guru, the women were convinced to clear the road. Subsequently, the water supply vehicle arrived at the site to resolve the issue, and the situation improved. By the end of the day, the problem was addressed, and the water supply was restored.
