New Delhi:Jan, 07:  The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, will observe Veer Bal Diwas tomorrow. This day is commemorated to remember the courage, sacrifice, and exemplary values of India’s young heroes. On this occasion, children who have achieved remarkable success in various fields will be honored with the Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP).

The Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is a prestigious national award conferred annually by the Government of India to recognize children for exceptional achievements in the fields of bravery, art and culture, environment, social service, science and technology, and sports. In the year 2025, 20 children from 18 states and Union Territories have been selected for this honor.

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will present the awards at a special ceremony to be held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The national-level Veer Bal Diwas 2025 program will be held on 26 December 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event. On this occasion, he will address the children and youth of the country and emphasize the crucial role of young citizens in nation-building.
The program will showcase inspiring stories of bravery, resilience, and selfless service to motivate children and youth. This initiative will further strengthen the Government of India’s commitment to nurturing empowered and responsible citizens in line with the vision of a Developed India by 2047.

On this occasion, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Annapurna Devi, will deliver the welcome address. The event will be attended by children, PMRBP award winners, and distinguished guests from across the country. Cultural programs reflecting India’s rich civilizational heritage and spirit of bravery will be an important part of the celebrations.
