Raygada, Dec, 15: A preparatory meeting of various subcommittees for Lok Mahotsav Chaiti 2025 was held. The meeting included discussions on invitations, food committee arrangements, honor certificates, and the organization of the procession. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Collector (General) Mr. Naveen Chandra Nayak and Additional District Collector (Revenue) Mr. Nihar Ranjan Kahar.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the invitation of guests, arrangement of food, organization of the procession, and proposals from distinguished individuals for their unique contributions to various fields in the district. Suitable individuals from the concerned blocks could participate either through video conferencing or by reporting to the District Culture Officer on a predetermined date.
Decisions were also taken to include the general public and representatives of various institutions in the procession.
Similarly, a meeting of the Cultural Program and Stage Management Subcommittee was held under the chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Mr. Akshay Kumar Munda. In this meeting, members proposed organizing high-quality cultural programs and suggested giving priority to local artists. Some suggestions were also given by culturally experienced individuals.
The meeting was attended by District Information and Public Relations Officer Basant Kumar Pradhan, District Culture Officer Susmita Bauri, and other members.
