Papadahandi, Dec, 05: A preparatory meeting was held today at the Block Conference Hall of Papadahandi to organize the block-level Mandei on December 6. The meeting mainly focused on how to involve a larger number of people in the Mandei, selection of chief guests, management of road traffic, finalizing the date and starting time, arrangements for food and beverages, cleaning of road edges, bringing in artists, and setting up exhibition stalls for various departments.
The meeting was chaired by Block Chairperson Hemlata Majhi and attended by Vice-Chairperson Sushant Kumar Behera, MP representative Somnath Pujari, Minister’s representative Lingaraj Bhatra, SASMAL, MLA representative Raj Rajnikant, former MLA Bhujbal Majhi, Sub-Divisional Officer Satyajit Jit Kandekal, and BDO Kapildeb Sahu.
Other attendees included Papadahandi Sarpanch Chandrashekhar Majhi, Makia Sarpanch Jagatjiban Nayak, former Sarpanch B. Jagannmohan Rao, G. Ananta Murti, BJP Mandal President Manoj Agrawal, Dinabandhu Bishoi, Trinath Amanatya, Hari Panigrahi, Rajkishore Rao, A.B.O. Balkadas Randhari, CRCC Manoj Majhi, PIO Mangulu Bhatra, GPO Akshay Pattnayak, BSSO Subrat Kisan, along with sarpanches, PIOs, and committee members from various panchayats in the block.
The program was conducted and concluded by BPO Shashikant Das, who also offered the vote of thanks.
