Tentulikhunti, 18th Sept 2025: A preparatory meeting was held at the Durga Mandap premises in Khatiguda, the main commercial area of Tentulikhunti block, Nabarangpur district, in view of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations.
The meeting was chaired by S. Mrutyunjaya Patra, President of the Indravati Traders’ Association. Discussions were held to ensure this year’s Durga Puja is conducted in an organized and disciplined manner.
As proposed by Mr. Patra, a new Puja Committee was formed, and responsibilities were distributed accordingly. The following office bearers were selected:
- President: Sushanta Raut
- Vice-President: Ganesh Sahu
- Secretary: Maheswar Mohanty
- Joint Secretary: Indrajit Sahu
- Treasurer: Prabir Samal
Special emphasis was given to empowering youth members of the committee with fresh responsibilities. Expressing full support, Surendra Nath Raut, Vice-President of the Traders’ Association, urged everyone to extend all forms of cooperation.
Manoj Mahapatra, Joint Secretary of the Association, also assured support for the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
