Kotpad, Jan, 16: Today, the Pongal festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur in Kotpad town. The event was held at the Police Ground located in Telugu Street .
The chief guests at the program were MLA Rupu Bhatra, former Minister Smt. Padmini Dian, former MLA Chandra Sekhar Majhi, former Congress MLA candidate Anam Dian, MP’s representative Sekhar Das, Advocate Association President and today’s chief speaker Shri Mani Prasad Patnaik, Municipal Chairman M. Shankar Rao, Vice-Chairperson M. Santoshi, commentator Koti Achari, MLA’s representative Binayak Acharya, along with Iswar Mahanti, Kishore Mishra, Biswatripathi, Ninibabu Mali, Kuna Sahu, Thabir Samarth, Shankar Panda, Binod Patra, social worker Ganesh Panda, senior Congress leader Manohar Bisoi and many others.
